Porto Cervo Food Festival
Wine, Cheese, Bread and a lot more
If your plan for the last weekend of this summer is to visit Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, in the province of Olbia-Tempio, do not miss the Porto Cervo Food Festival, an event dedicated to the excellence of sardinian and italian agrifood. Costa Smeralda indeed will host the artisans of taste, giving you the chance to enjoy good food: cheese, salami, pickles (the protagonists of this edition), bread, honey, pastries and much more! The Porto Cervo Food Festival is the biggest food and wine festival in Sardinia and the 20 and 21 of September the Hotels Cala di Volpe, Cervo, Pitrizza and Romazzino will host the sixth edition, while at the Cervo Conference Center you will find the artisans and their specialties, which can be enjoyed on a path that will show you the Italian food and wine reality. Many will also be the appointments for those who want to try their hand at cooking lessons (on request, max 12 participants per course, Tel. 0789-939408 / 430).
As you can imagine, there are several beaches of the Costa Smeralda that I could suggest you (as Cala di Volpe, Cala del Faro, Cala Granu , Cala Razza di Giunco), but in particular today, we recommend Cala Petra Ruja, a beach with a sea bed made of pebbles and crystalline and limpid water. Small and hidden by a thick Mediterranean scrub the cove is little-used. To get there you have to cross Liscia Ruja (better known and therefore more crowded) and then take a path on the left.
So I hope you enjoy the sea and the good food !!!
